Emmaline Gilmore originally found her love of dance right here at MDA about 20 years ago and is excited about the opportunity to pass her love of dance onto the next generation of dancers. After starting in ballet, she began to explore other dance styles, including jazz, musical theatre, contemporary, lyrical, acro, and hip-hop, finding her niche in the latter four.

 

After graduating from MDA, Emmaline continued her training at university with the Queen’s University Dance Club before joining their faculty as a hip-hop teacher for various levels during her three-year tenure. She went on to complete the Acrobatic Arts module 1 course and is certified to teach primary through to level 6.

 

Emmaline hopes to continue creating a safe space for dancers to find and share their passion for dance, regardless of age or skill level.
